About Stranger Things Font

Stranger Things is an American science fiction-thriller TV series created by The Duffer Brothers. It is set in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana in 1983, where a tragedy is about to strike that will change the fate of many. A group of young friends starts experiencing supernatural forces and secret government exploits as they explore what lies beyond their own backyard. They soon find themselves on an adventure with dire consequences — but it's nothing they can't handle together!

The title lettering of the show has already become iconic with its unique styling and mysterious appeal. Giving off a strong Art Nouveau vibe, the font is the creation of famous typographer Ed Benguiat. Instead of picking up a modern script, the Duffer Brothers chose the ITC Benguiat font for the show's title because of its retro appeal.

Needless to say that there were several font suggestions for the title sequence but ITC Benguiat made the final cut. Creative studio Imaginary Forces collaborated with the Duffers on this creative journey and they designed the sequence, colors, and movements of the letters, so they fit the TV screen like puzzle pieces.

The typeface design is a perfect example of how typography can be used to evoke the desired mood in any work. The Stranger Things font is an excellent example of this, as it plays a major role in setting the mood and tone of the show.

The font perfectly captures the sense of mystery and intrigue that we feel while watching the show. This font was chosen because it's close to what reading Stephen King novels during the 1980s time would evoke. The Duffers wanted to create a nostalgic feeling for viewers who grew up in that era or just loved those books.

Stranger Things font is one of the most popular fonts nowadays. It has been used in various design projects such as posters, logos, and other graphic designs. If you want to use it in your design project, you do that without paying a penny! The font is absolutely free for personal use. You can download it from any online source without violating any copyrights.

This article will give you an idea about how to use this typeface in your next project and what kind of effects it can bring to your work.

The font is designed to evoke the feeling of mystery and horror, making it perfect for any project that needs to have an eerie or spooky feel. The antiquated style also goes well with anything that has a romantic, antique, or medieval theme. The serif’s sharp edges and slender lines reflect the 1980s setting of the show, as well as making the font appear more ominous.
